Sponsorship Information

Bee Cave Public Library and the Friends of the Library welcome your participation as a sponsor for any of our events. See details below for our major sponsorship opportunities, and contact Library Director Barbara Hathaway for more information by emailing

The Books and Bees Festival is an annual event celebrating literacy and the beauty of our Texas Hill Country. Begun in 2022, this one-of-a-kind festival is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Bee Cave Library and the City of Bee Cave, and is designed to share outstanding literature for readers of all ages by bringing in prominent, best-selling authors for readings, signing, panel discussions, and more. Because the City of Bee Cave is a Bee City USA affiliate, the festival’s mission also includes educating the public about the importance of our pollinators through demonstrations, fun activities, crafts, and honey-tastings. The next Books and Bees Festival will take place on April 6, 2024. For more information on how to become a sponsor of Books and Bees, please visit

The Friends of the Library supports the annual Summer Reading Program at Bee Cave Public Library by underwriting prizes and incentives to encourage reading, providing themed tee shirts for library staff, and helping defray costs of performers and special events at the library. Sponsorships from local businesses are welcome and serve as an important way to show community support for the library. In turn, the library widely publicizes the names and logos of the sponsors as a way to thank them for their support, including mentions in the library’s monthly newsletter distributed to more than 9,000 email addresses. More information about becoming a sponsor of the Summer Reading Program is available HERE

The Rolling Sculpture Car Show takes place at the Hill Country Galleria on the last Sunday of October. This family-friendly, annual event is the main fundraiser for the Friends of Bee Cave Public Library, and has raised more than $101,000 for the Friends since it began in 2008. Organized by a group of classic car lovers who wanted to benefit a local nonprofit, the show raises money through paid sponsorships and registration fees paid by participating car owners. All proceeds benefit the Friends of Bee Cave Public Library. Friends members help plan the event, and work during the show at the registration table, merchandise tent, volunteer check-in, judges tent, parking control, and wherever help is needed.
